Buzzlines Travel selects mkodo for SMS Alert Channel
mkodo announced today that Buzzlines Travel , a leading provider for coach tours holidays and day trip programmes, has integrated the mkodo Intelligent Mobile Platform (IMP) with its client communications programme.
The customer services team uses SMS to notify clients who are abroad on a Buzzlines holiday, should any changes to itinerary be required. The marketers at Buzzlines plan to use SMS initially to promote concert and show packages. They will build a mobile club for theatre and concert goers that keeps them abreast of last minute offers and upcoming events.
The IMP manages the client details, segmenting them by tour or interest, and enables the Buzzlines team to send the appropriate SMS messages out to the correct audience that has opted in to receive the communication. It also provides instant reporting to assist with fulfilment and marketing analysis.

Closer to home from a marketing perspective, it is the perfect venue for moving time sensitive inventory quickly, like last minute tickets or quick, sell-out concerts."
