CTIA 2005: UKTI uses mobile messaging for Trade Mission participants
March 2005: UK Trade and Investment (UKTI), the government organisation that helps UK businesses realise their export potential, is using a text service provided by mkodo, the leading mobile platform provider, to supply information to UK businesses attending the trade mission to CTIA, New Orleans 14 March 05- 16 March 05.
Participants in the UKTI initiative will pre-register to be contacted via their mobile phone immediately with show-related business leads. Reminders regarding mandatory events will also be sent via SMS, participants will be able to text back their confirmation.
mkodo has previously supported UKTI with use of the mobile channel for its in-show communications at the CTIA 2004 conference in San Francisco and the 3GSM Congress 2005 in Cannes.
