mkodo provides Mobile for The School of Economic Science registration campaign
Leading mobile services supplier, mkodo, has been chosen by The School of Economic Science in their marketing campaign to attract more students.
The School of Economic Science, an educational charity, placed a poster in London underground asking people to text to get more information about the courses they provide.
People are asked to text word HAPPY to 60030 and receive a text message back with the telephone number and website with the course information. Using mobile and a keyword/Shortcode with the poster works best as the commuters are able to remember the prompt (Happy) and the number (60030) or to act immediately by texting to the number and receiving the details in which they are interested. Using a keyword and shortcode for SMS has compared well as a means of enerating response within a commuter environment against a full-blown 11-digit 0800 or 0870 number.
