Platform Infrastructure
mkodo 's Intelligent Mobile Platform supports all aspects of mobile communications from SMS and MMS receipt and reply, to messaging broadcasts, to mobile content delivery and mobile web services. The platform uses the concept of campaigns to contain specific functionality and responses; the functionality can be created dynamically through the rules interface for each campaign.
mkodo services are accessed through a web based management interface. This allows users to manage various aspects of their accounts, including creating, managing and monitoring campaigns, and managing resources and users.
The main features are
- create and manage campaigns: mkodo uses the concept of campaigns to create interactive services for mobile devices
- create interactive rules for campaigns: each campaign can have an associated rule set, which allows the messages to be handled in a certain way. Each campaign can be attached to multiple inbound and outbound messages
- manage inbound, outbound and interactive messages: e.g. a campaign can receive a text message in and reply with either a text message or an email or both. It can also ftp the file to an external service, send the data via http or the http/xml standard - SOAP - or place any output to a local file.
- integration into external systems: mkodo provides simple integration into external data services such as content data feeds, remote application services, payment systems and any other service that supports HTTP or RPC protocols
- manage, distribute and monetise mobile content
- create and host mobile internet sites and integrate these to other mobile activities
- all interactions with the mkodo service are written in real-time to a transaction database. Reports can be created either from this database or from account based private reporting
