Digital Insights Paper for Lotteries - Part 1

20210212

To offer lottery operators an insight into best practices in UX design when creating digital products, we at mkodo have released a Digital Insights Paper.

In Part 1 of our two-part Digital Insights series for regulated lotteries, mkodo’s Creative Director, Tom Atfield and Digital Designer, James Leigh discuss best practices in UX Design and offer practical examples of UX Design in action for a range of digital lottery products.

Touching on topics such as visual elements, intuitive navigation, personalisation, accessibility and the on-boarding and registration process, the paper also offers practical examples of successful UX designs.

With an ever-increasing number of mobile users, it has never been more important for lottery operators to offer customers a frictionless mobile experience to increase trust and loyalty in their brands.

Tom Atfield, Creative Director at mkodo, and co-author of this paper shares: “Lottery players today expect their lotteries to have a digital presence of some kind and ensuring products are fully designed with the user in mind from the onset is crucial.

“Creating a flawless UX provides users with a positive experience which helps foster a long-term relationship between players and the lottery and with this paper we want to offer operators an understanding of how to best achieve this.”
