About the Role
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic technical people person to handle incoming support issues from internal stakeholders. This role is hybrid but based for a minimum of three day in our growing London Office. This role can be full time, or part-time hours considered for the right candidate. We need the experience set out below, but above all we are looking for someone willing to help, and a friendly face that our team will want to bring their technical issues to and make the experience of using our Internal Service Desk is a positive one.
Main Responsibilities
Internal Support Desk
- Manage and support software purchased and managed by the Internal Service desk such as Jira, Service Now, Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Teams, Salesforce, Miro, Training tools etc.
- Support wider business with implementation and administration of software tools, for example, HR, GRC or finance tooling.
- Process joiners, movers and leavers in relation to their access and equipment.
- Support small estate of other office equipment - video conferencing, printers/scanners.
- Support staff through responses to service desk support tickets, remotely and in person.
- Conduct quarterly software access reviews.
- Support Internal Stakeholders with option appraisals for software purchases.
- Maintain and manage the ITOPs third party register of suppliers.
- Provide 1st line support for the London office for the end user computer estate (predominantly laptops) in person and remotely.
- Perform scheduled checks relating to information security as determined by the Infosec team (e.g. Antivirus monitoring, Laptop Updates, Access Control Audits etc).
- Support staff through responses to service desk support tickets, remotely and in person.
- Continually evolve standards, processes and KPIs for the Service Desk in conjunction with key stakeholders and ensure they are met.
- Support mkodo associates across Newcastle (remotely) & London (remote and in person).
- Support for internal and external audits of our estate and GDPR requests as needed.
- Additional Internal Service Desk tasks arising from advancement of mkodo’s ISO27001 and Information Security Management System (ISMS) certifications.
- Collaborate with third parties for timely resolution of issues.
- Create and update procedural and process documentation.
- Be present in our London Office an average of three days a week.
